Steve, when i listen to your podcasts in my car, there are typically 1-3 minutes of outakes at the end of each show that do not provide me any value. It would make for a much nicer listening experience if the podcasts would just stop when you are done with the edited version. Other than this, I enjoy the show and learn a lot.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure that I'll eliminate them since it adds a lot to the processing time (can't let it run) and many people seem to like them.
Once you hear the music come up, the podcast is done, so that's kind of the cue. There are a few seconds before they start up.

Please don't ever eliminate the outtakes. "The human side of Steve Jones" is my favorite part of every editorial! 🙂 (Besides the valuable content, of course!)

I'll second that... if someone doesn't like the outtakes, they can make the gargantuan effort to hit the "off" button.

I'll third it, and it's what attracted me to the forums (the human side).
