I'm trying to work out a way to use SQLCMD to run a backup script through an SSIS package. I think I have determined that you need to include a Execute Process Task but to call SQLCMD.exe but not sure what is the next steps needed? Would I need to add a Execute SQL Task as well and link them? The purpose of the script is to create a backup of a database on one SQL server instance, copy that to a share location, and then from that share location restore the database to a different SQL server instance.
Appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks

I'm sorry but your answer to my other post didn't help at all and as much as you would like to think you are, your not the boss here. When you reach the level of Moderator status then, which I seriously doubt you will considering, then your can police anyone you like. Until then just sit back and relax and try and give helpful advise.

Dude, drop the attitude, it will utterly prevent you from getting help. I am NOT the boss, but I have been here long enough and answered enough questions that I KNOW what is and is not allowed. Cross-posting is considered BAD ETIQUET here, I don't have to be a moderator to point out something wrong.
Now if you had simply said "sorry about the cross-posting, I didn't realize that wasn't allowed or frowned on, and you didn't really answer my question please re-read it." I could have helped you, but instead you want to come out attacking.
As far as useful advice, I have more than proven myself.
