SQLmon- Third Party tool

    Hi All,

    Does anyone have experience working on SQLmon?

    At present we do not have any third party tools in our SQL environment. We got an offer from our vendor to transfer licences. Is it quite worth it?

    Are there any known issues?

    Impact one the servers?

    Gethering information?

    If anyone has experience out there. Please share your views.

    Hello Krishna,

    You can ask you vendor to have brief technical session. You just than download the trial version and test thoroughly into your test environment before going further.

    Thanks for your reply. Yes, we are going to have a technical session scheduled.

    How do you do hardware estimation WRT the same? What factors do you have to consider?

    Please throw some light onto this.
