DTS Packages dislays

  • Hi,

I have installed SQL Server 2005 Integration Services on my production servers in the name of default instances. On that same system my QA SQL Server Database Engine instances are also running as a named instances.

I have created two set of folder for both QA & Prod under the MSDB folder of Integration Services.

When i choose the DTS Packages for scheduling , when i choose the server name as (Prod) default it shows all the folder and the reports.

When i choose the server name as Server Name \Instance name (QA Instances) for configuring the packages it shows only default dts packages not the user defined packages.

    How it resolve.

    Regards,

  • There is an XML config file for the ssis server, I can't remember its exact path but it will be under C:\program files\[sql server 2005]

I'm willing to bet it references only the base server name and not the named instance name..
