Hi, We are planning to third party monitoring tool (Probably Idera SQL DM). We also checked other tools, but all tools has option of setting up email alerts. We require a pager alerts. Please advice.
Do we contact any pager company like email alerts go to them and throw pager alerts. Licence and maintain details?

People still have pagers??
If you already have the pager(s) check with the company and see if you can send email alerts via them. Many years ago at another company we had pagers and all we did is send an email to our pagers if there was a problem.

We don't have pager. With email alerts we can't monitor 24X7. Every time DBA needs to check email in the off hours and weekend. That is why I asked about pager alerts. Is there any other way to monitor othar than pager alerts.
How did you set up pager alerts in your previous company, what's the process

I don't remember the details as I haven't been there for over 4 years. We are looking at setting email alerts here to go to our cell phones. Haven't implemented it yet as we have several things we need to put in place first.
If you have cell phones with text messaging, check with your provider to see how you can do that. Each company has a different way if implementing the process.
