Hi,
I am delivering a 2008 database solution to client sites where I do not have control over the server collation. My intention is to provide the populated database as a backup to the clients. I am not sure of the best way to handle collation diferences - the database bing deployed contains bound views that precludes a simple collation change of the database being deployed. I also cannot dictate collation of the server at client site
Any tips to gracefully handle this will be gratefully received.
Pete Clements.

I'm not sure that the links listed below will help you.
You may have to work from a Development Server that has both SQL Server 2005 & SQL Server 2008 to accomplish this task.

SQL Server 2008 Collation Setting and Windows Versions
SQL SERVER – Cannot resolve collation conflict for equal to operation
