Hello,
We are planning on moving our SQL databases from Simple to the Full Recovery Model. We are taking precautions like making sure we have enough disk space and putting the logs on a different drive array. Does anyone know of any serious gotcha's I may run into when doing this? Any tips or tricks is much appreciated.

Thanks. Looks like I should let it buck and see what happens. Are you able to change models on the fly or does it take a restart of machine or service?

You can chance them as you like. A switch to simple takes effect immediately. A switch from simple to either full or bulk logged takes effect after the next full/diff backup.
