Error deploying Report Model in SQL 2008 SP1

    Hi,

    We get an error when deploying a Report Model in SQL 2008 SP1 from BIDS.

    Error: "The path of the item '//Reporting Services 2008 Test Reports' is not valid. The full path must be less than 260 characters long; other restrictions apply. If the report server is in native mode, the path must start with slash."

    I have deployed reports to exactly the same location without error - so no issue with url, permissions etc.

    Any ideas much appreciated.

    Ok - got this - it was caused by leaving the TargetDataSourceFolder blank (had always done this in RS2005 to deploy datasources to same location as reports etc).
