SQL Server Agent controller

    Hi,

    I have installed SQL server 2005 Express Edition. I want to schedule a job on the SQL Server agent service, but I do not see the service in the list of services in the configuration manager.

    I tried configuring a lot but in vain. I would appreciate any help or tips on getting the the Agent service up and running.

    Its very critical...

    the agent is not part of express editions

    Thanks!!! I found that after I had posted. Downloading the developers edition 180 day trial now.
