Prevent email of empty result set

    Does anyone know of a method of preventing a subscription sending an empty result set - it would be very nice to use subscriptions to send exception reports except that each email still needs to be checked because even reports with no content are sent.

    Yes with simple subscription it will happen. You need to use data driven subscription where you can write query to find out if there is any record available to sent. It is only available in enterprise edition.

    Edit: I am pointing this out in case you don't have Enterprise edition. Data driven subs are not available in Standard.
