I think that I'm working for them still.
Well, actually there have been many times that a customer has taken weeks to review a proposal. Then upon signing it act surprised that we could not install the code the same day.

Sad part is, she'll probably bust her backside and actually deliver the product by tomorrow, then be frustrated when it actually takes 3 weeks for the contract to be available for review, only to find that the terms on the contract were different than what was promised.
We developer-types can be so...gullible? Naive? Eager to please?
