hi,
i'm getting this error:
recently we have enable FTS(Fulltext search)
Executed as user: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. The backup of the file or filegroup "sysft_ARTICLE_desc" is not permitted because it is not online. BACKUP can be performed by using the FILEGROUP or FILE clauses to restrict the selection to include only online data. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3007) BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3013). The step failed.

Is your database Online? What is the status of your database when you look in the SSMS?

hi,

full backup job was scheduled, in the log of jobs ( backup failed for online isssue)

Following error:

BACKUP can be performed by using the FILEGROUP or FILE clauses to restrict the selection to include only online data. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3007) BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3013). The step failed.

After when i execute manually then it was successful, but for two/threedays it is failing(fullbakcup job ).

i've fts is enabled as :

changetracking is auto and bakcground. is still need to create a job to populate indexes.
