Hi,
I have done migration from SQL Server 2000 to 2005. I used the script from the following link to transfer the logins.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/246133
Actually with SQL Server 2000 users were able to log into the SQL Server irrespective of their password sensitivity. They never cared about their password sensitivity. In the course of time, they forgot the actual passwords (i.e. password with correct sensitivity).
But now, after the migration when they are trying to login to SQL Server 2005 instance, they are not able to login. SQL Server 2005 is asking for the exact password which they have forgotten.
Could anyone please help me with this?
Thank You,
Best Regards,
SQLBuddy.

If you still have your 2000 instance available then change the password on it and move the logins again.
