How and where to see the estimated query plan for a particular query in sql server 2005

Highlight the query and click the 'Display estimated execution plan' button on the toolbar, or select 'Display estimated execution plan' from the query menu, or press Ctrl-L

In management studio use the Query menu option and it has options to show estimtated or actual execution plan. Shortcuts are Ctrl L and Ctrl M.
