Hi All,
I have just started exploring Performance Point Server and have a question regarding the same.
As we have Report Builder available for Sql Server, Is there any facility in PPS to do ad- Hoc Reporting?
Does Dashboard Designer serves the purpose of doing ad- Hoc reporting in PPS?
Thanks,

I suppose you could use Dashboard Designer to create Analytical Charts and Grids, but the ultimate destination for this would be in a dashboard that would be deployed to SharePoint.
For end-user ad-hoc you would want to stick with Report Builder 1.0, 2.0, Excel (hopefully 2007), or some other product. These can then be deployed and shared as needed (whether that is in SharePoint or some other destination).
SQL Server 2008 R2 will be bringing more self-service reporting functionality with Gemini and some additional enhancements to Reporting Services.

Ad-hoc reporting is one of the capabilites of Analyzer, which is our front-end solution for SQL Server BI, designed for non-technical business users.
