hi,
inssis package (execution package utility) how can i change the connection string in connection manager.if edit the connection string it is not affecting the result.
please help me.

not a lot to go on...but do you have a config file setup for the package? If so what is the connection specified to in that file. If it is set to the problem connection string, try changiong it in the config file to the correct path and re-run the package.

actually that is my issue. how can i create a configfile( server settings) for the ssis package.
my scenario :
i have created a package locally and now i want to execute that package in another server.for that ihave to create a configfile according to that server.

You can create a config file for a package
Opening the package in BIDS
Right click the package work area
Select Package configurations.
Its probably worth having read of BOL:

This talks about config files and deploying ssis packages
