Hi
I am new in SQL and very desperate. I had to uninstall SQL 2000 from a server 2003 STD server. Everything went well and there is no indication for SQL left anywhere. Not in services, control panel or in programs. If I now try and reinstall SQL 2000 in gives the following message. "A previous program installation created pending file operations on the installation machine. You must restart the computer before running setup. I have done it numerous times but the same message appear. This happens straight after giving the server name during installation. It does not give me a opportunity to create another instance of SQL. Any help. Please.
Regards
Marius
