connecting express to sql server

    HI,

    I manage our Blackberry Enterprise server which uses SQL Server 2005. I want to use SQL Express to manage the database, but when I try to connect I can't. Is there something I am missing?

    The name is pingable.

    SQL 2005 Express is a database engine, not a management tool.

    SSMS would be used in either case to "manage" the database.
