Cannot open http://localhost/reports

    Hi

    I am working on a Windows Xp machine, with Sql Server 2005 installed. When i tried to open Report manager, 'http://localhost/reports' , my mozilla firefox browser is asking for credentials. What credentials should i submit?

    It means you are not Admin of the computer and SQL Server so check the thread below and read my long post in the middle of the thread for how to fix it.

    I also had the same problem. Solved it by providing the Credentials to IIS. Open IIS, go to the properties of the Default website, open Directory Security. On the anonymous access and Authentication control, clikk Edit, then choose either the Anonymous access or provide your credentials to the Basic Authentication or choose Integrated Windows authentication
