I have BIDS 2005 and 2008 which both have the same problem. When I rightclick and select 'choose items' all the SSIS ones I need are already checked.
Anybody have an idea?
TIA,
Guillermo

Have you tried the Reset ToolBox option....
failing that I would uncheck them all - ok it - then choose them all again...

Thanx, but it doesnt work unfortunately. When I rightclick 'Show All' in the Toolbox I see all the checked components but they are grey. Also I find the dll files in the correct path so they must be installed. I am afraid I'm missing something quite obvious here. It was like this from the moment of the installation.

not trying to be smart - but have you opened and IS project and not a RS one ?? Just a thought as if you were in a RS project then the IS components would not show...maybe you could upload a small screen shot ??

Ouch, like a said, something obvious. When creating a new project I checked the Integration Services Project template and now everything is dandy.
