Offline Cubes Automation

    Hi,

    What would be the best way to automate the creation of 80 offline cubes (80 different regions) ?

    Would it be SSAS, SSIS or Excel 2007 VBA?

    Looks like you could use SSIS and ascmd to create your .cub files fairly easy. Take a look at this posting here for some options - Create cube file with Analysis Service Command?[/url]

    You can download the ascmd application from codeplex and you will have to compile the application - http://msftasprodsamples.codeplex.com/[/url] (command-line utility sample).
