Hello Experts
Could you please suggest me the "situations", when do we need to recycle the "SQL Server Engine" and "SQL Server Agents" from Configuration Manager?
I have noticed many times when SQL Server stop responding. In that situation, can I get the actual reason from the event viewer..or what can be my immediate move?
Regards
Sourav
Thanks.

Wow, SQL Server not responding many times. Sounds like some major application issues. I'd start by setting up a PerfMon log, starting with the counters mentioned in this blog post. You may also want to put on a very simple server-side trace that just gets the RPC:Completed, SP:Completed, and TSQL:BatchCompleted statements so you can correlate with the PerfMon log.
