  • Hello,

The following article suggests reasons why you may get the error "Shared Memory Provider: No process is on the other end of the pipe".

    http://blogs.msdn.com/sql_protocols/archive/2006/07/26/678596.aspx

Also take a look at the comments section, as there are pointers to other reasons for this particular error.

  • Eswin,

    Check the followings working properly

    1. http:///Reports web is working.

    2. Anonymous accress is diabled or not in each virtual directory. If anyoumous access is diabled, then u have to pass a valid user id and password in order to run the reports. Best thing is to enable the anonymous access for the time being.

  • Hi, Eswin.

I have met the same problem like you before, and it also made me frustrated.

But now, I am using RAQ Report, and it is really easy to use. So I think maybe you can also have a try of it.

You can get this free reporting tool at http://www.raqsoft.com/[/url].

I wish this can help you. Good luck.

  • Eswin,

    1. Try http://localhost/Reports or http:///Reports

    2. How to enable Anonymous access for reports

    - Go to IIS.

    - Right click on the "Reports" folder comes under "Default Web Site" Category".

    - Select "Properties" from the list.

    - Go to "Directory Security" tab.

    - Select "Edit Button"

    - And tick the "Anonymous access" chekc box (here u can accept the IIS user or u can provide a valid user of ur own)

Hop this will work for you
