Is it possible in SSRS 2005 to display a PDF file stored in database as image datatype

    Hello,

    We are dealing with a CMS application that stores files such as PDFs as image datatype in the underlying SQL database. I'm trying to figure out how I can display these PDFs in SSRS 2005 Reports that need to be created for a client.

    I've tried using the "Image" report item to attempt to render the pdf in SSRS, but the pdf will not render this way. Does anyone know if it is possible to display PDFs within a Reporting Services report? If so, how?

    With SQL 2005, you are out of luck. You are really only able to show text or images.
