Sql2008 - SSIS package fails to save - login timeout

  • Hi there

So, we have a new SQL 2008 server, running on a new Server 2008 64bit machine with 8GB ram... tis a blade server... SQL is assigned 5GB and yes, we do have CLR functions deployed.

I have experience with scripts doing backups and DTS optimisations but with the new system I cannot create a maintenance package - I set the options willy nilly and as I wish, but when I save I get a time out exception.

My colleague, with the same rights and privileges, did the same thing, successfully.

Why would my save instruction time out twice?

    Kind regards

    Habeeb

So long, and thanks for all the fishpaste 😉

  • Further to my previous post, I attach the error message generated when MODIFYING the plan created by my colleague. I assume it's a SQL Management Studio error more than anything else... ideas anyone?

So long, and thanks for all the fishpaste 😉
