Upgrade SQL server 2000 cluster to sql server 2005

    Hi all ,

    I'm tasked to upgrading my cluster server from SQL 2000 to SQL Server 2005 , and while upgrading in the Authentaction Mode window I choess Mixed Mode and type user name and password but every time i get error

    I change the Sa Password to strong password but nothing change using windows authentaction and nothing change just see the error again

    Cluster enviroment Active/Passive

    2 Nodes Windows Server 2003 X64+ SP2

    I have 2 Instacne

    SQL Server 2000 x86

    SQL Server 2005 x64

    my target upgrade SQL 2000 instance to SQL Server 2005 x86

    If you don't mind me asking what was the password you entered?

    If I am not wrong; upgradation can't be done from X86 to X64.
