I'm studying for my 70-431 test and am still struggling with this. Can anyone explain to me, in understandable terms, the difference between the three secondary XML index options: PATH, VALUE and PROPERTY? I know that:
PATH is based on the Path and the Node Value of the primary index
VALUE is based on the Node Value and Path
PROPERTY is based on the Primary Key, Node Value and Path
PROPERTY seems fairly straightforward, it's going to benefit from searches based on the primary key of the table. PATH and VALUE explanations seem to conflict, based on my material.
If anyone has a way of understanding this, it would be most appreciated.
TIA

I think that it is just a matter of the order of the Path and Value within the key.
