Database Mail config

    Morning all.

    Have a question regarding Database mail.

    How would I configure SQL 2005 to include a certain word in every subject heading sent in a mail from SQL ?

    Is there an amendment I can make to the provided scripts ?

    Yes, you can modify the mail procedures in MSDB. It is fairly simple, so just open the procedure and look at what it is doing.

    Remember that any patches or service packs you apply may over-write your changes and you may have to re-apply and re-test. System stored procedures can be modified by MS at any time.
