sql server service

  • hi i cannot start a service after i enable my tcp/ip

  • Hi Desmond,

Please post the error message that you are getting when you try to start the services. You can get the information from the System Event log and the SQL Logs.

  • where is the system event log or the sql log sorry am new

  • can u post me directory example where i can find the system log

  • Windows event viewer is probably the easiest otion - Are you new to Windows as well as SQl Server? If so you may find you need to read up on basic wuindows tasks as well.

Easiest way to get to the event viewer is Start/Run/ and type eventvwr
