Logshipping copy job failing

    :hehe:Hi folks,

    I am getting this error from the output file of logshipping copy job.

    log shipping copy fail [Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLState: HYT00)] Error 0: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Timeout Expired

    Any Ideas?

    How large is the log? It sounds like a network error. Does it work if you restart the job?

    Also, are you sure the destination is up?

    The destination is up as well as if I restart job then also it runs successfully....The only problem is that it fails randomly, at aleast 2-3 times a day..

    In job history it only says that sqlmaint.exe failed....nothing else...Any ideas folks??

    may be other jobs are running at same time and due to this network error occurs
