Using Tlogs over WAN to DR Database.

    We are currently sending Trans Logs to our DR server using Litespeed once every 15 mins. We used to use once every hour but our internet would burst and we ended up paying astronomical cost. How are others backing up databases over the WAN?

    Back it up to local directory, then another script/Job will copy it over to the WAN using SCP

    Just curious, but, since you are using litespeed are you compressing your backups?

    yes we are using the litespeed compression. The Tlogs are being backed up through litespeed then sent over to the other server.
