which editon of SQL Server 2008 is supported in windows 2003

    Following is the configuration of my system

    Model:

    ProLiant DL380 G5

    Processor count:

    8

    Processor:

    Intel Pentium III processor 3.16 GHz

    RAM:

    4 GB

    Hard Drive: 68GB

    OS: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 5.2 Enterprise Edition (Service Pack 2).3790

    for the above configuration which edtion of SQL server is supported?

    1) SQL server 2008 enterprise x86

    2) SQL Server 2008 enterprise x64

    3) SQL Server 2008 enterprise IA64

    is the above three editon is supported for my system?

    Can anyone suggest me on this?

    SQL Server 2008 enterprise IA64 is for Itanium processors, so this will not work on a DL380.

    I'd also recommend changing up Windows 2003 to the x64 edition and installing the x64 version of SQL Server 2008
