I cannot figure out how to embed a toolbox object or code into a report that calls another report with a passed parameter.
The scenario is this that a form (packing list) is printed from my application. This form would then call or chain to another form (invoice). Thus both are printed.
I've look at sub-reports, but that appears to embed the subreport into the body of the first report. I need the output to be two separate forms.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Doug

Hi Doug..
You may try hyperlinks within reports..I mean to say..go to Navigation option and try out Jump Reports feature...which will create a hyper link..in ur reports and calls the concerned reports...you can also pass parameters in between ur reports...:)
Please try this and let me knw..if it works for ur issue....:)
Thanks,
Niraj

Niraj,
Thank you for the reply. I was considering something like the hyperlinks, but our application sends the report directly to printer without a preview, thus the user would never see the first report to click a hyperlink.
That is why I was thinking there might be a way to 'call' or 'chain' to a second report, with a paramater being passed from the first.
