MCITP 70-452 - any preparation materials?

    Hello there,

    I've passed MCP 70-448 (wahey!) and now I'd like to aim for MCITP 70-452 Business Intelligence

    However, the official Microsoft site says that materials will be available later on, and to check back.

    Does anyone know when the official materials will be released, or any books that they can recommmend?

    I've been made redundant so I need to do some 'credit crunch' style studying.

    Hi there,

    I passed the 448 exam today and will be trying to get some material on 452.

    Have you found anything on it so far?

    No worries. I passed it yesterday -- 900 out of 1000.

    It was very easy - if you passed 448, then you should be fine to just go for this one, especially if you had some experience in doing cubes, etl and reports.

    Things worth recapping are fuzzy elements of the ETL (lookup and grouping), data mining (which method is for which purpose and meaning of input/output/key in Naive Bayes), and integration with Sharepoint.

    The above things appear to be the weakest among the MS BI specialists since they are rarely employed.

    Also it is healthy to check Scale-Out architecture of SSRS.

    Especially, what sort of problem in DB/SSRS/scheduling/response time/slow rendering might lead the architect to engage a second DB or a second report server.

    I found them on the google.THere are heaps of places which give you samples, but unfortunately they are almost all copy of the same thing -- 5-6 questions.

    If you want I can shoot the ones I managed to find.

    Hi all,

    I have been working on SSIS for about 4 years now. But i have no working experience in SSRS/SSAS/Cube design.

    Can i still take the exam MCTS 7-448 without prior experience in SSRS/SSAS? I used to be a SQL DBA/Developer but i am soon going to move to DW/BI area in my company.

    Any inputs, pointers truly appreciated!

    I do not see how passing this exam without experience, if ye have good knowledge about SSIS ye still need to put a lot of work on RS & AS.

    Hi All

    Last week I sit in MCITP exam 70-452 Designing a Business Intelligence Infrastructure Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and pass the exam with a very good score. I am working in BI for the last three years and do prepare myself for this exam for more then four months. If you have any query about this exam or any prep guide please let me know.
