Any one have any thoughts/explanations on why a trigger would shut down a service broker queue?
The trigger is an after update trigger. It checks to see if a customer for a created ticket is past due on their bills and if so, exec a procedure that sends an email.
The service broker is updating a view with the last journal of the same ticket above. Both do use the same view.
Could this be the issue? I have just never heard of this before.
Thanks,

Is it running into a deadlock?

Not that I am aware of or that is being recorded. Note that this happens almost immediately.
As soon as a ticket is updated, the queue goes off line and the email does actually get sent.
