Greetings Folks,
I'm a newbie with linking tables and could use some help with Access linked tables.
I exported my Access tables to SQL Express running on a remote server and linked via dbo_tables. The connection works fine.
After I linked to SQL Express, I lost my table relationships in Access. I created a Database Diagram on the server and everything seems to work.
Should the realtionships be redrawn in Access or add a Database Diagram in SQL, or both?
Thanks much for some help!

Hi there,
I am assuming that your Access link is there because you have some sort of application written in Access VBA. What you have done is simply move the tables to a SQL Express server and then linked to them.
If that is the case, creating a database diagram and linking the tables in SQL Express is sufficient to re-create the links.
Hope that helps.

Thanks les. The app seems to work pretty much the same as it did before moving the tables to SQL Express. I did the database diagram at the git-go but wasn't sure about it.
