Hi all - question here....
Have any of you seen where the maintenance plan for doing diffs and tlog backups no longer has your selected databases checked if you go back in to edit it?

Yes, this happens because Maintenance Plans in SQ2K5 are a legacy thing... it won't display them in the list, but the Maintenance Plan still holds the values (you can verify this by clicking on the SQL button to view the SQL statement).
The best thing would be to convert your Maintenance Plans into SSIS packages... much cleaner and easier to manage in SQL2K5. 😀

I get nothing when I click on t-sql. Does that happen with anyone else?

yes, these things happen sometimes, i guess bug in sql2k5 maintenance plans..
