I'm am getting a "Productleveltoolow" error when running dtsx from MSDB. The error only occurs when creating a file. Table to table is not an issue.
I crecently created another package that does a delete on a file somewhere on the network and I was able to get a different message which makes a bit more sense.
The message I'm know getting is
"Cannot run on this edition of Integration Services. It requires a higher level edition".

Hi
What version of SQL server are you attempting to run the dtsx package from, and what version of vs studio was the dtsx created in?

Package was created on my client (Visual Studio 2005 - version: 8.0.50727.762 (SP 050727-7600).
SQL Server Management Studio on my client is 9.00304200.
Note that I can run SSIS packages from my SQL Server Management Studio by going into MSDB and right clicking on a package. The only packages I cannot run are packages that load or create files.
I did this a.m. create a sql job and was able to run those packages.
I read somewhere that we might need the enterprise version. !!!

This was resolved. We installed SSIS Server on our file server and 'productleveltoolow' error was resolved. We did not need the SSIS enterprise version on my client. I'm using standard.
