The output will display the name - which is the name of the drive; low free displays the available free space and media type displays the type of media namely CD-ROM(8), Floppy(1), Hard Drive(2).

Does anybody know what it means when the "low free" column of xp_availablemedia is a negative number? It's not always negative, but it often is.
I'm trying to get the free space of an external usb drive, which doesn't show up in xp_fixeddrives. Availablemedia shows the "low free" as -1232883712. Also, what is "high free"?
Thanks
