Hi Folks,
Is there anyway to find the history of queries run on a server
(without running profiler). Will looking at the query plan cache help me here? I am doing this to see which stored procs may be good to revoke access to so I can lockdown the server.

You can't get a call-by-call reference, by the dynamic management view sys.dm_exec_query_stats will show you aggregate information about any queries that are still in cache. If they've aged out of cache, they will not be available in the DMV either.
