Hi all,
In my company we have Oracle database. But now my company is planning to purchase license of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. We are going to hire some SQL Server DBA's too.
Now my question here is that can anyone give me step by step idea on How to do database designing on sql server 2005. We are just starting from zero here....
I want to know all the steps from first.
Any help would appreciated.

Database design doesn't really change from product to product. If you want the details of creating a database and tables, then go to Books Online when you install SQL Server and look through there. Or you can start here: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191425.aspx

You might also make that a question as you hire your SQL DBA's. See if they can explain to You how to design a DB.
