We are considering migrating to a NetApp solution for part of our overall storage. Wondering if there is anyone who is using their products and any feedback that you might have.

Not sure what you mean. Are you talking about having the SQL Server running on a server accessing the database stored on a NAS?

personally i'm talking about having NetApp as our storage solution for everything - including sql server. What i'm worried about iis that there isn't much on any forums regarding this technology so i'd like to hear from anyone that has implemented it for feedback.
Apparently Oracle, SAP, Google and Yahoo use them......

One of the big financial clients who interviewed me in the past used NetApp. It seems NetApp is good with clients having huge storage needs. I would say get as many details as you can from different vendors like NetApp or Xiotech or Veritas and compare the features and pricing that best suites your company's needs.

Have not used NetApp, but have used other similar NAS/SAN solutions.
The key for EVERY SAN/NAS solution is in the planning and budgeting.
The NetApp is NOT an inexpensive solution, but it does have some SQL Server and MS platform specific features that make it compelling. The OS Snap-ins that allow SQL server to "SEE" the SAN/NAS as local storage is powerful, plus they have a host of management tools that ease the management and reduce the complexity that is inherent with very large storage solutions.
That said, you really must have a REAL NEED for a solution like this, as it will be serious over kill otherwise.
