Search Between Tag

    Hi all look above

    there are the html format save in the table, But here condition is I want to search "historical" in above string and want to replace with

    But I want to search between tag only, I do not want to search in the HTML tag

    suppose I will search "historical" then it will found here

    ] <

    so when i replace it then it will replace above html formating also, I do not want to do in this way.

    I want that it will not search in the html tag but it will search in text detail only and replace detail there.

    Please suggest me

    Use Patindex() to locate your angle brackets. Then once you know those positions, you should be able to search between them with Substring() for the text you're looking for.

    Check Books Online for these two functions. BOL has code samples at the end of each entry.
