Setting up linked servers in Sql Server 2005

  HI.

  I have 2 machines with w2k3 and having sqlserver2005.

  i need to configure kinkedservers on machine one.

  and specify the name as

  type sqlserver

  when i click on OK it promted a window that SRCVM(my second machine name) alresdy exits and failed.

  how to do this one.

  It means its already in sys.servers list

  please run

  select * from sys.servers

  and see if that server already in list.
