Username visible in emails

  • Steve, would it be possible to include the username of the sender in emails that are sent via the forum. I keep having people mail me with questions and I'd love to be able to see their username so I could reply via PM rather than mail (to keep mail address hidden)

    Thanks

  • Just want to confirm Gail. In best case the user name and a link to her/his user profile (if the user changed the nick name).

    Greets

    Flo

  • That's definitely a good idea. I don't get emailed often, but in most cases if I do I'd prefer to reply via PM as well.

  • I'll add that to my list. It is a good idea.

Personally I don't answer questions in email at all. They need to post it somewhere.

Agreed, and that's the only reason I want to reply. I just don't want to give away email address in order to ask them to please post the question in the forums.
