Defining Measure Calculations in a Cube

    Hi,

    pretend that I have a cube with two measures, Actual and Plan. Now I want a Measure Diff in the cube. Is there no possibility to makre an expression like Actual - Plan?

    Is it maybe possible to add multiple measures to one measure? Just a sum over multiple columns.

    You can setup this new measure on the Calculations tab in the cube. That is where you are going to setup your custom calculations, named sets, scope statements. You could also look at utilizing the KPI functionality to for this type of information.

    The other thing that you could look at doing depending on how the data is setup is within the data source view or in a view within the database itself.
