Permissions to regular user

    How can a DB user given permissions to check user's db locks so that they can check long running queries. Can they use something like

    sp_lock & sp_who2

    is there a way a developer without giving admin rights can run those store procs?

    Execute permissions default to the public role for these stored procedures.
