Launching Reporting Services Configuration

    I installed MS 2005 Reporting Services on my web server

    (Windows Standard 2003 SP1), (IIS 6.0, ASP.NET v1.1 and 2.0)

    When I launch Reporting Services Configuration I get "Provider Load Failure" message.

    I confirmed the MSSQL Reporting Services are running. In the server's Event Viewer I get the following Application error: "Report Server Windows Service (MSSQLSERVER) cannot connect to the report server database."

    I'm at a loss as to why this is happening. I did not receive any errors during installation.

    Any Ideas???

    Remove IIS 6, download and install Win2003 SP2, then install IIS 6 click on details and all the features needed to run Asp.net. Then run aspnet_regiis. The reason many bugs are fixed by Win2003 SP2 and IIS 6 comes locked down to render only html.
