Hi,
I am trying to run a maint plan however I receive an error that the connection can not be established. When I check the connection details in "Manage Connections" in Management Studio I see that the connection was to an old server. This server is not online anymore. I highlight the connection and choose Edit but the ability to edit the server name is greyed out. Also if I cannot delete this connection and create a new one. The name of this connection is "Local server connection" Is this the default connection perhaps this has something to do with this issue? Also I am logged in as the admin of the server as well as SQL so I don't think it's a permission issue. Is there a way to do this through a command instead?

More info on this:
I tried to delete a maint plan that was for a server that is no longer online and I receive an error message saying something similar too "the server does not accept remote connections". Well the server isn't online so it definitely will not receive remote connections. This prevents me from deleting the maint plan. Is there another way through the GUI or command that will delete this maint plan?
