Hi,
we have sql server 2005 active\active cluster setup.
Node: dba1
Virtual server: dba1vs1
instance: ins1
So inorder to connect ti integration service through management studio:
1.ServerType:select integration servies
2.Servername:dba1vs1\ins1 or dba1\ins1
In servername when I go for browse for more I can see only dba1 in '+integration services' not able to see dba1\ins1 or dba1vs1\ins1?
how actually it works?

Integration service is not a cluster aware service. Hence, it will show you physical server name and that is correct.

Intergaration services is not instance or cluster aware, but what you can do is edit the MsDtsSrvr.ini.xml file on both nodes and set up a folder each for the msdb on each instance, that way you can connect to both ssis packages that are stored on either instance no matter which physical node sql is on, check out this article which details how to do this:
